Martin Scorsese's ‘What Happens At Night' begins Czech Republic shoot

Filming has begun in the Czech Republic on Martin Scorsese’s What Happens At Night, starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence.

The Apple Original Films project is being produced by Apple Studios and Studiocanal.  

DiCaprio and Lawrence play a married American couple who travel to a small, snowy European town to adopt a baby. The cast also includes Patricia Clarkson, Mads Mikkelsen, Jared Harris and Welker White.

The film is adapted from the novel of the same name by Peter Cameron. Scorsese is producing for Sikelia Productions alongside DiCaprio, Lawrence and Daniel Lupi.

The director previously collaborated with Apple on 2023’s Killers Of The Flower Moon.
