Spain Film Commission, Feria de Valladolid ready Shooting Locations Marketplace

The fifth Shooting Locations Marketplace will be held on October 15 and 16 at Feria de Valladolid, Spain.

Spain Film Commission organises the contracting marketplace for audiovisual industry professionals alongside Feria de Valladolid. 

Shooting Locations Marketplace is open to location scouts, production companies, service companies and filming destinations, both territories managed by film commissions or film offices and private spaces interested in hosting production. 

The goal of the event is to facilitate matchmaking between the participants, with 2024's edition seeing over 1,300 appointments scheduled and an increase in international representation at the marketplace.

There are also panels and roundtables geared towards identifying and discussing key factors within the location business, such as a region's incentives, infrastructure, and doubling potential as well as sustainability. 

Shooting Locations Marketplace has collaboration agreements production industry bodies such as Association of Film Commissioners International (AFCI), and Location Managers Guild International (LMGI), as well as with European associations such as the European Film Commissions Network (EUFCN), The Production Guild of Great Britain (PGGB), Produktionsallianz Services, and the European Producers Club (EPC).
