Dublin-based post production co EGG names Rory Dungan EP, director of strategy

Dublin-based EGG Post Production and VFX has appointed Rory Dungan as executive producer and director of strategy. 

There has been increasing government support in Ireland for the VFX sector, including a recently introduced 8% uplift to the tax credits for feature films under €20m, and a 20% tax incentive for unscripted productions announced in Budget 2025.

Dungan's credits include Netflix's Angela's Christmas Wish, while EGG's credits include Amazon's Good Omens, BBC's Doctor Who, Sony's The Woman King and Bodies for Netflix.

EGG was established in 2004 and is a founding member of VFX Ireland.

Ireland recently sent a trade delegations to Los Angeles aimed at highlighting Ireland's expanding VFX capabilities to major studios and streamers, which included representatives from EGG as well as Element Post, Outer Limits, Piranha Bar, SSVFX, and Windmill Lane.
