Virtual Production Fellowship programme launches in Wales

Wales’ Media Cymru has launched a Virtual Production Fellowship programme, to be delivered via specialist training providers Final Pixel Academy.

The nine-month course is the first of its kind in Wales and will be hosted at a training facility at fivefold Studios in Bridgend, Wales.

It will be funded by Media Cymru and delivered by Final Pixel Academy with support from fivefold Studios and post-production company Gorilla.

The Fellowship begins in September and is available to 16 students, with applications open from today (June 23).

Teaching will focus on innovative technologies and virtual production techniques across the fields of TV and film, broadcast, games, VFX, live events and post-production.
