Auspicious Group acquires film production company Nowadays

The Auspicious Group has acquired London-based film production company Nowadays.

It is the Auspicious Group’s fourth acquisition since it was launched in October 2024 by Media Zoo founders Rachel Pendered and Mark Killick and Casual Films founder, Barnaby Cook.

Nowadays is led by founders Thom Wood (managing director) and Guy Saville (creative director). Its roster of clients includes Schroders, BaByliss, Red Bull, NSPCC, HSBC, Samaritans, Cuisinart, Dementia UK and the Scouts.

In a statement, Nowadays said: "For our clients, it means the same core team, the same approach - but with added firepower. More reach, more capabilities, and more confidence to take on bigger challenges together."
