Guy Ritchie's ‘Viva La Madness' starts London shoot

Production is underway in London on Guy Ritchie’s Viva La Madness for Black Bear and Amazon MGM, with Jason Isaacs, Camila Mendes, Vinnie Jones and Babs Olusanmokun joining the cast.

Ben Foster, Jonny Lee Miller and Raúl Alejandro are also starring, alongside the previously announced lead of Jason Statham.

Ritchie has written with Layer Cake writer JJ Connolly. The film is based on Connolly’s novel of the same name.

It was developed by Statham for Punch Palace Productions and Thomas Benski for Lumina Studios, who are producing alongside Guy Ritchie and Ivan Atkinson for Toff Guy Films and John Friedberg for Black Bear.

Black Bear will release in North America, with Amazon MGM releasing in the majority of international territories.

The company is reteaming with Statham following Shelter, currently in cinemas.
