The series returns to the Cotswolds and sees the ensemble cast reprise their roles.

Disney+ confirmed filming will begin this month on the second season of Rivals, based on the novel by Dame Jilly Cooper and produced by Happy Prince (part of ITV Studios).
Reprising their iconic roles are David Tennant as Lord Tony Baddingham, Alex Hassell as Rupert Campbell-Black, Aidan Turner as Declan O’Hara, Nafessa Williams as Cameron Cook, Bella Maclean as Taggie O’Hara, Katherine Parkinson as Lizzie Vereker, Danny Dyer as Freddie Jones, Victoria Smurfit as Maud O’Hara, Claire Rushbrook as Lady Monica Baddingham, Oliver Chris as James Vereker, Lisa McGrillis as Valerie Jones, Emily Atack as Sarah Stratton, Rufus Jones as Paul Stratton, Luca Pasqualino as Basil ‘Bas’ Baddingham, Catriona Chandler as Caitlin O'Hara and Annabel Scholey.
Filming on season one took place across the Cotswolds, UK in Gloucestershire and Wiltshire. Key locations included the town of Tetbury, which doubled for the fictional Cotchester, and the city of Bristol. Rivals was the first production to film at The Bottle Yard’s TBY2 facility in Bristol. Whether it will return to the studio has yet to be confirmed.
