Catherine Zeta-Jones' thriller 'Kill Jackie' (w/t) underway in Biscay, Spain

 

Production on Kill Jackie (working title) is underway in Biscay, Spain as Daniel Ings joins Catherine Zeta Jones in the cast.

Zeta-Jones plays Jackie Price, a former international cocaine dealer who has been living a luxurious albeit anonymous life for twenty years selling fine art using sophisticated tax loopholes.

When she discovers The Seven Demons, a squad of hitmen, have been hired to kill her she embarks on a dangerous plan to take them down one by one before they kill her.

Ings plays Sam, Jackie’s buttoned-up lawyer and long-held crush, and joins cast including Bill Paterson, Sidse Babett Knudsen, Óscar Jaenada, Hattie Hook, Darci Shaw, Raff Law, Enzo Cilenti, Christine Adams, Julian Rhind-Tutt, Karlis Arnolds Avots, Set Sjöstrand, Tadashi Ito, Sebastian Armesto, Julian Barratt, Gavin Spokes, Jonathan Cake, and Bamshad Abedi-Ami.

Executive producers are Peter Lawson and Jose Augustin Valdes for Steel Springs Pictures, Dante Di Loreto, Jeffrey Levine, Tom Butterworth, Damon Thomas and Catherine Zeta-Jones. 

José Luis Escolar’s Deabru Kalea Filmeak is supervising production in Bizkaia. 

The lead Director is Killing Eve's Damon Thomas and I Hate Suzie's Dawn Shadforth directs block two. 

The writer and showrunner is Tom Butterworth. Conor Keane created and co-wrote the TV adaptation and is an associate producer. 

Kill Jackie will be available on Prime Video in 2026.
