Paramount+ has announced that production on season two of The Agency: Central Intelligence has begun in London.
Season two stars Michael Fassbender, Jeffrey Wright, Jodie Turner-Smith, Katherine Waterston, Harriet Sansom Harris, John Magaro, Saura Lightfoot-Leon, Andrew Brooke, India Fowler, Reza Brojerdi, Alex Reznik, Ambreen Razia, and Richard Gere.
The Agency: Central Intelligence follows Brandon Colby, codename Martian (played by Fassbender), a CIA agent living undercover in his own life. Samia (Turner-Smith), his lover, is a political prisoner in Sudan and he will do anything to try and save her.
The series is an English language take on the French drama Le Bureau des Légendes (The Bureau internationally) created by Eric Rochant and a Création CANAL+ original series produced by TOP – The Originals Productions and Federation Studios.
Executive producers are by Keith Cox and Nina L. Diaz for Showtime/MTV Entertainment Studios, David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin and Bob Yari for 101 Studios, George Clooney and Grant Heslov for Smokehouse Pictures, Alex Berger for TOP - The Originals Productions, Ashley Stern and Pascal Breton for Federation Studios/Federation Entertainment of America, and Michael Fassbender and Joe Wright.
Jez Butterworth and John-Henry Butterworth, whose credits also include Ford v Ferrari and Edge of Tomorrow return as writers and executive producers.
Season one filmed in London, UK and Tallinn, Estonia.
