Skydance's 'Untitled John Tuggle Project' is doubling Melbourne and Victoria sports arenas and locations for American football stadiums and an American college in the 1980s.

Skydance Sports' untitled biopic about American football player John Tuggle, starring Superman's David Corenswet, is now filming across Australia.
Michael Shannon, who as football coach Bill Parcells, and Masters of the Air's Isabel May also star. The film is directed by Jonathan Levine whose credits include Lionsgate's 50/50 and Long Shot and written by Reacher and Fubar writer Nick Santora.
Filming is currently underway on location across Melbourne and Victoria, with stadiums including Kardinia Park Stadium in Geelong and La Trobe University Sports Park in Bundoora doubling for American football stadiums and an American college in the 1980s.
Producers are Levine and Gillian Bohrer for Megamix and Nick Santora for Blackjack Films. Stan Wlodkowski will executive produce.
The production was attracted to the state by VicScreen, the Victorian government’s creative and economic screen development agency through the Victorian Screen Rebate. The production is also accessing the Australian government's location offset.
Other projects filming in the state, include TV series AppleTV+ series The Dispatcher and Liam Neeson action feature The Mongoose.
