Max Original series 'The Pitt' season two begins production

Production has commenced on season two of the Max Original drama series The Pitt. 

Filming takes place on the historic Warner Bros lot in Burbank, California, with exteriors shot on location in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. 

The Pitt is a realistic examination of the challenges facing healthcare workers in today’s America as seen through the lens of the frontline heroes working in a modern-day hospital in Pittsburgh. 

Each episode follows an hour in the hectic day of Dr Michael 'Robby' Robinavitch’s, played by Noah Wyle, during his 15-hour shift as chief attendant in the fictional emergency room at Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Hospital.

The Pitt is produced by John Wells Productions in association with Warner Bros Television.

R. Scott Gemmill created the series and is executive producer alongside John Wells, Noah Wyle, Michael Hissrich, JWP’s Erin Jontow, and Simran Baidwan.
