Santa Fe Studios, home of 'American Primeval', 'Godless' up for sale

Santa Fe Studios, home to productions from Netflix, Disney, Warner Bos and more, is up for sale.

The New Mexico-based studio features 79,550 square feet of total built space; two 19,275 square-foot industry-standard sound stages with 40’ clear heights and NC-25 sound ratings; 24,000 square feet of Class A production offices; 17,000 square-foot warehouse/mill space, 57 acres of backlot space and more.

It has been home to a variety of productions including Netflix's American Primeval and Godless, 20th Century's Logan, HBO's Succession, and more. 

New Mexico offers  base refundable tax credit of 25% with a maximum credit of 40%. Productions filming at Santa Fe Studios can take advantage of a 5% location uplift due to the studio’s location.

New Mexico is also home to Netflix's ABQ studios in Albuquerque, and though the state has captured productions that have left Hollywood in search of other filming locations, a slowdown has taken place with a decrease in production from  $740.54 million in fiscal year 2024 to $323 million so far in fiscal year 2025 according to the state's film impact report released June 2025.
