LA-based Orbital Studios, a virtual production studio and services provider, has promoted A.J. Wedding to CEO and Eric Heffler to President, as part of its efforts to support its global operations and international market expansion.
The company's mobile virtual production approach has been recently used on Netflix's series Nemesis, from Power Universe creator Courtney Kemp.
Co-founder Wedding said in a statement: "Productions worldwide are facing increasing pressure to control costs while maintaining creative quality. President Eric Heffler will oversee international service delivery and operations.
Founded in 2020, Orbital Studios is a virtual production services provider specialising in mobile LED stage technology and comprehensive production solutions.
Its Los Angeles base is a 36,000-square-foot headquarters, and the company also services productions worldwide through its mobile operations model.
