BBC's 'Death Valley' returns for a second series as production begins in Wales

Filming begins this week in Wales on a second series of Death Valley starring Timothy Spall and Gwyneth Keyworth.

The crime solving duo return as retired actor John Chapel and disarming Welsh detective sergeant Janie Mallowan, alongside regular cast Alexandria Riley (Helen Baxter), Steffan Rhodri (DCI Barry Clarke), Melanie Walters (Yvonne Mallowan) and Rithvik Andugula (DC Evan Chaudhry).

Death Valley is written and created by Paul Doolan, with additional material by Sian Harries. Series two will be Directed by Simon Hynd and Claire Winyard. Nikki Wilson produces. Executive producers are Madeline Addy, Josh Cole, Paul Doolan and Timothy Spall.
