Austria reopens FISAplus production incentive programme

Austria has reopened its Film Industry Support Austria Plus (FISAplus) incentive programme for international films and series, as well as domestic production, effective today (September 1).

The programme is run by Film In Austria, and offers a 30% rebate, plus a ‘green bonus’ 5% uplift for productions following environmental sustainability criteria.

Maximum funding is €5m per film and €7.5m per series. 

Prior to the fund closing early in 2025, productions to receive support include HBO's The Regime starring Kate Winslet, Guy Ritchie’s Fountain of Youth for Apple TV+, and Jaume Collet-Serra’s Cliffhanger sequel for StudioCanal.
